"Advent market with all senses" at the Oberlinhaus
Traditionally held on the second Saturday of Advent, the Oberlinhaus invites everyone to its "Advent Market for All the Senses" on the Oberlinhaus campus in Babelsberg. The Advent Market begins with a festive service in the Oberlin Church. Outside, a vibrant market awaits visitors of all ages. Festively decorated stalls offer a variety of handcrafted products such as candles, ceramics, and felt items, all lovingly created by people with and without disabilities. These items can not only be admired but also touched and purchased, perfectly embodying the spirit of an Advent Market for all the senses.
For the youngest guests, there's an Advent rally across the grounds, featuring exciting stations to explore. Other attractions, such as donkeys to pet, a children's carousel, campfire bread baking, and craft activities, ensure that the little visitors have an unforgettable day. A highlight is the visit from St. Nicholas, who has small surprises in store for the children.
