A touch of the Netherlands in the heart of Potsdam: During the Sinterklaas Festival, the Dutch Quarter transforms into an atmospheric Christmas market. Just like in the Netherlands, Sinterklaas traditionally arrives in the quarter on his white horse and is welcomed by guests of all ages.
Around 100 market stalls nestled among the red brick houses invite visitors to explore, sample, and linger. Dutch and local vendors, artisans, and restaurateurs offer a variety of delicacies, unique gift ideas, and handcrafted goods. Interesting craft demonstrations also provide insights into traditional techniques.
With its unique setting and Dutch traditions, the Sinterklaas festival brings a piece of Holland to Potsdam's Advent season.
