Festival of Cultural Heritage
From 14 pm to 18 pm, around 40 cultural heritage associations and partners will showcase their volunteer work in the square in front of the Brandenburg Gate in Potsdam. The associations will present current projects and explain how their volunteer efforts make the cultural heritage of our city visible. A program of music, discussions, and information on monument preservation and association work will also include demonstrations of traditional crafts and hands-on activities.

The rocking pop band with guitar, electric bass, drums and vocals from the Potsdam Municipal Music School "Johann Sebastian Bach".
**14:30 p.m.** **Opening and tour in front of the Brandenburg Gate**
Discovering new things together: Mayor Noosha Aubel warmly welcomes everyone to this year's festival at the new venue.
**15:00 PM** **Babelsberg Jazz Collective**
Two wind instruments, a full double bass, elegant and light piano playing, and impulsive drumming.
They provide a special musical experience.
**15:45 PM Successfully Inheriting Culture: Potsdam's Cultural Heritage Heirs Introduce Themselves**
The Pückler Society Berlin and the Friends of Lindstedt Castle Association as new cultural heritage sites. A conversation with Chairwoman Renate Pochert and Treasurer Anette Müller.
**16:00 PM** **Children's and Youth Choir of the Evangelical Peace Church Parish Potsdam – Sanssouci**
The children and young people bring the element of water to life through song and movement, experiencing it as a vibrant rhythm of existence. In colorful costumes, they create a poetic encounter between sound and movement, inviting the audience to participate and immerse themselves in the experience.
**16:30 p.m. Questions and answers about the UNESCO World Heritage Site.**
An expert discussion with Claudia Grünberg from the Institute for Heritage Studies.
**16:45 PM** **Bambini - Children's Choir of ChorWerk Potsdam eV**
The focus of the music-making with four- to eight-year-olds is on playful animal songs. When hungry bears growl, happy ants dance, angry guard dogs bark, and desperate millipedes search for their shoes: experience an interactive animal concert with sing-alongs!
**17:10 PM** **Best Practice – Learning at Monuments**
The cultural heritage project POTSDAMWIKI turns 20. A conversation with editor Bolko Bouché and chairwoman Sybilla Haverkemper of Potsdam Guide eV.

The award-winning jazz combo with piano, bass, drums, saxophone and vocals from the Potsdam Municipal Music School "Johann Sebastian Bach".

**Participatory activities “Whether big or small - everyone can be cultural heritage”:**
• Hand mill workstation operated by the Berlin-Brandenburg Mill Association
• Historical craft techniques taught by restorers in the crafts sector (woodturning - restoration of a historical clock, stencil painting and plaster carving)
Waffle station with flour from the historic mill
• Selfie backdrop: Trolleybus front of the Historic Potsdam Tramway Association
14-17 pm: With boxes, cardboard, newspaper, masking tape, fun, patience and... glue: That's how you build your house. Come along and build with us!
