Island Swing

Swing dancing is on the island! More precisely: Lindy Hop. Lindy Hop, the original swing dance style of the 1930s, was danced in the famous Savoy Ballroom in Harlem. Now you can experience it on Friendship Island. On the island stage, Talea & Holger, who have been teaching Lindy Hop in Potsdam for almost 20 years, will show you the first steps. Afterward, you'll have time to try out what you've learned or watch the more experienced dancers. The event is free.
