A musical high point: Bach and Mozart with Lisa Batiashvili and François Leleux
Lisa Batiashvili and François Leleux will once again perform in Potsdam – this time in a thrilling solo duel in Bach's Double Concerto, which Batiashvili will juxtapose with Mozart's sophisticated Violin Concerto in D major. Leleux will conduct the evening, opening with Haydn's playful "La Poule" Symphony and bringing the Viennese Classical period to a humorous close with Prokofiev's First Symphony.
A program that promises surprises, artistic excellence and great joy in playing – or, as the Märkische Allgemeine Zeitung summarized after the last joint performance of Batiashvili, Leleux and the KAP: An evening that stirred the concertgoer
and staggers out of the Nikolaisaal hall euphoric after almost two hours.”
