Season Opening | Shifting Architectures – Roberta Ricci & Gabor Hartyani

Shifting Architectures is a site-specific performance that makes the space perceptible as something changeable. Improvisation, movement, and live music create temporary constellations between bodies, architecture, and the audience. What constitutes a place is not predetermined, but rather unfolds in the moment.

Developed during a four-day workshop with choreographer Roberta Ricci and musician Gábor Hartyáni, the performance follows the practice of instant composition. Attention, listening, and responding to one another become the choreographic material. Body and sound become instruments that not only play in the space but constantly shape and change it. Shifting Architectures It invites one to experience architecture as a relationship – as something that arises between movement, resonance and encounter, and is reassembled with every moment.
