Improvisational theater, without memorized lines, assigned roles, or a script. Impossible? Not at all! In this workshop, we'll learn to connect with the moment and our fellow performers, creating a story together. We'll explore the fundamentals of spontaneity and creativity, learning that mistakes help us grow and overcome barriers. The improvisational theater methods developed by Keith Johnstone and Viola Spolin are based on techniques that anyone can learn. This workshop serves as a perfect introduction to the world of improvisation.
The workshop will be led by our ensemble member Stefan. Stefan is a coach, improvisational performer, and trainer for applied communication. He has been performing with ImproPotsdam since 2012 and passionately leads workshops, emphasizing clear rules, fun moments, and safe experimentation.
