UNESCO World Heritage Day 2026: Face painting
Potsdam transforms into a stage and invites everyone to UNESCO World Heritage Day on June 7, 2026, under the motto "UNESCO³ – Film Meets World Heritage". In addition to the many city-wide events for the day, the diverse supporting program on the island stage of Freundschaftsinsel (Friendship Island) offers something for everyone.
Guests can look forward to colorful, creative, and professional face painting. With great attention to detail, the experienced artist from Jessi's Events for Kids transforms children into magical creatures, brave superheroes, sparkling fairies, or wild animals. Thanks to a wide selection of beautiful face painting designs, there's a perfect motif for every child.
The free event can be experienced from 12 pm to 17 pm on the meadow next to the island stage.
We exclusively use high-quality, allergy-tested, water-based theatrical makeup, which is particularly skin-friendly and easy to remove. Glitter in a variety of colors adds extra sparkle to the eyes and creates dazzling highlights.
