UNESCO World Heritage Day 2026: Children's Theatre Little Red Riding Hood
Potsdam transforms into a stage and invites everyone to UNESCO World Heritage Day on June 7, 2026, under the motto "UNESCO³ – Film Meets World Heritage". In addition to the many city-wide events for the day, the diverse supporting program on the island stage of Freundschaftsinsel (Friendship Island) offers something for everyone.
From 12 noon onwards, all guests can accompany Little Red Riding Hood on her exciting adventures in the forest. From her encounter with the charming wolf Gaspard to an adventurous search for clues and the rescue of her grandmother.
A delightful children's theatre piece about courage, curiosity and a young detective, featuring puppets, acting and music, for everyone aged 4 and up.
The production is directed by Stefanie Rüffer with music by Arne Assmann.
