UNESCO World Heritage Day 2026: Longings - Mind Cinema Script Reading
Potsdam transforms into a stage and invites everyone to UNESCO World Heritage Day on June 7, 2026, under the motto "UNESCO³ – Film Meets World Heritage". In addition to the many city-wide events for the day, the diverse supporting program on the island stage of Freundschaftsinsel (Friendship Island) offers something for everyone.
Sehsüchte is one of the largest European student film festivals. The 55th edition took place in Potsdam in 2026. In the staged reading ‘Kopfkino’ (Mind Cinema), acting students from the Film University Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF present excerpts from two of the works nominated for this year's screenwriting competition in the ‘Schreibsüchte’ (Writing Addictions) section.
