UNESCO World Heritage Day 2026: STUNTASTIC Workshop
Potsdam transforms into a stage and invites everyone to UNESCO World Heritage Day on June 7, 2026, under the motto "UNESCO³ – Film Meets World Heritage". In addition to the many city-wide events for the day, the diverse supporting program on the island stage of Freundschaftsinsel (Friendship Island) offers something for everyone.
The stunt workshop at Filmpark Babelsberg reveals who has what it takes to be a stunt kid. Under the guidance of the Babelsberg stunt crew, children can try out their skills with straight jumps, somersaults, and body stunts. Physical fitness isn't the only important factor; mental focus is crucial too, explains stunt crew leader Martin Lederer. Courage, concentration, and above all, team spirit are the hallmarks of a good stunt team. He wants to instill these qualities in the children, who can meet him and his crew in person and try their hand at stunts under the guidance of the professionals.
Approximately 30 children can participate in each workshop.
