What remains. Poverty in old age.

exhibition
How would you like to live when you're old? Perhaps a life surrounded by family, a garden of your own, or traveling to faraway lands. For many people, reality looks quite different.
In Brandenburg, one in eight people of retirement age is at risk of income poverty.
Besides economic hardship, poverty can also mean exclusion from social life.

In a long-term photographic project, photographers Astis Krause, Stephanie Neumann and Julia Otto explore life in old age with limited financial resources.
They accompany nine women and men from the state of Brandenburg and beyond in their everyday lives.
