A piece of Bavaria in Brandenburg: The Augustiner offers the cozy atmosphere of the Alpine foothills right in the Dutch Quarter. The tavern, decorated in typical blue and red with rustic wooden furniture, is divided into several winding rooms. Additional tables in front of the building and in the courtyard provide even more seating for guests.
The cuisine is traditional Bavarian, featuring roast pork and meatballs, or hearty snacks like Obazda (a Bavarian cheese spread) and Leberkäse (a type of meatloaf). Of course, Weißwurst (Bavarian white sausage) is a must. Vegetarians can enjoy Käsespätzle (cheese spaetzle) and Reibekuchen (potato pancakes). In addition to the usual hot and cold drinks, Augustiner beer is available – on tap or in bottles.
The restaurant can accommodate groups of approximately 40 people.
