Café Franz Schubert

  • Gastronomy
The café is located on the avenue leading to Sanssouci, near the "Green Gate" entrance to Sanssouci Park. If you wish to visit Sanssouci Palace, you can easily reach it in seven minutes.
This café is not your average café. Here you can not only enjoy homemade cakes and various coffee drinks, but also purchase high-quality souvenirs, oil paintings, etchings, or copper engravings of Potsdam and its royal rulers.
A special feature: Here, the owner still serves guests herself. So let yourself be pampered by the intimate atmosphere and classical music. Birthdays and other anniversaries can also be celebrated here. We bake cakes or arrange a buffet according to your wishes.
This café also continues a coffeehouse tradition. At the beginning of the 20th century, Eugen Seyfarth ran a café, a confectionery, and a beer garden in this building. Not only the homemade cakes but also the Potsdamer Stange (a pilsner brewed in Potsdam) delighted patrons.
it has become very popular.
