Restaurant and Café Heider

Located in the red brick building right by the Nauener Tor (Nauen Gate), this is one of Potsdam's most traditional coffee houses and restaurants. Locals and visitors alike have been frequenting this establishment since 1878. The red seating and traditional coffee house tables are spread throughout the interior, and historical photographs of the city are integrated into the walls. It's no wonder this place is known as "Potsdam's living room."
The kitchen serves German dishes with a Mediterranean influence. A breakfast buffet is available daily. Additional seating is available in the outdoor area in front of the building.
