Steam engine house from Babelsberg Park

The former steam engine house of Babelsberg Park is located in the Potsdam district of Babelsberg, on the shore of Lake Glienicke, within Babelsberg Park. It was built between 1843 and 1845 by Rudolf Gottgetreu according to plans by Ludwig Persius for the park's irrigation system. The engine house is a two-story, neo-Gothic brick building in a castle style, featuring a crenellated tower (the chimney) and a flue. A cavalier's room was also incorporated into the interior.
