The former terrace restaurant "Minsk" was built in the 1970s in the modernist style of the GDR and is today a place for encounters between modern and contemporary art.
The MINSK art center in Potsdam presents artworks from the former GDR, part of the Hasso Plattner Collection, in new contexts. In addition to the changing exhibitions, MINSK also regularly hosts concerts, readings, workshops, and other events.
The HEDWIG café bar can be accessed without entering the museum.
The combined ticket for DAS MINSK and the Museum Barberini allows one entry to each and is valid for 48 hours. This makes it possible to visit both museums on two consecutive days. Since both are closed on Tuesdays, a ticket purchased on Monday is valid until Wednesday.
