Fritz & Peter: City tours with historic trams

Pure joy on every curve. A city tour on a historic tram is a truly special experience. The vehicles themselves are a highlight: whether the Lindner motorcar from the imperial era, the rounded Gotha trams of the 1960s, or the angular Tatra from 1972.

Potsdam's tram network is ideal for sightseeing tours. It takes you past the city's historical highlights. From the comfort of your seat, you can experience the City Palace, the Dutch Quarter, the Russian Colony Alexandrowka, the Old Town of the Soldier King, and the magnificent buildings of Frederick the Great. The tour also includes the former military areas in the north of the city and Babelsberg, now modern developments. And, of course, a ride through the Nauener Gate is part of the experience. Hop on board!

Robert Leichsenring, dressed as a conductor in historical uniform, accompanies every tour and reports in a humorous and very regional way on what there is to see along the route – and in Potsdam, of course, there is a lot.

The city tour is offered in German and English.
