Guided tour of the Lindenstraße Memorial

The guided tour of the memorial site conveys to visitor groups the history of the building complex at Lindenstraße 54/55 – as a site of political and racist persecution and imprisonment, but also as a site of democratic history. The tour can be booked as either a general overview tour or a thematic tour. 

Possible themed tours include:

• Nazi “racial hygiene” and the activities of the Potsdam Hereditary Health Court
  
• The politically and racially motivated detention and persecution by the district and regional courts as well as the People's Court
  
• Political imprisonment and persecution by the Soviet secret police and the Ministry for State Security of the GDR
  
• The Peaceful Revolution of 1989/90
