Community Center KG Babelsberg

The community center at Schulstrasse 8c was built in 1930/31 according to designs by the architect Fritz Eisler for the then Bethlehem congregation. After the Bethlehem Church was damaged, the community center, with its church hall, served as a place of worship from 1941 onwards. In 1932, the Bethlehem congregation (including Bergstücken) and the Friedrich congregation were united to form the Babelsberg parish. Services continued to be held in the community center on Schulstrasse until 2004. Today, the building houses the church office, a hall for various events, and children's group rooms.
