For independent exploration, visitors to Potsdam can choose from various smartphone-guided tours. Tour 4 takes 2,5 to 3 hours to explore the World Heritage Site of Sanssouci Park. The tour starts at Luisenplatz. Passing the Marly Garden, it ascends the steps to Sanssouci Palace. With detours to the Picture Gallery and the New Chambers, the route continues via the Orangery, the New Palace, and the Temple of Friendship to Charlottenhof Palace. The route is well-suited for cycling. Within the UNESCO-protected parkland, please use the designated cycle paths, which may differ from the route shown on the map.
Following the designated route, information about the sights can be accessed via mobile phone. All that's required is a call to a German landline. There are no additional costs.
