Cinema at the Film Museum

The cinema at the Potsdam Film Museum is the only movie theater in Potsdam's historic city center and offers screenings of historical feature films and documentaries, as well as selected current productions. Special children's films are shown on Saturdays and Sundays.
The screenings are regularly framed by events with guests and audience discussions. Silent films are accompanied by live music on the Welte cinema organ.
Beyond the program, there is the option to rent the foyer and the cinema hall: for events, celebrations and special events in a historical yet modern setting.

New cinema seats have been available since August 2022. Barriers have been further reduced. There are now wheelchair-accessible seating areas and a ramp leading to the main entrance, allowing access to the auditorium.

For €20,00 per year, the friendship card provides discounted admission to all cinema events, exhibitions and free access to Kino2online.
