Potsdam Art Space

With its art space, the Waschhaus offers a forum for contemporary visual art and its boundaries, reflecting on aesthetically and socially important issues and fostering a dynamic interplay of current artistic positions in diverse contemporary media such as painting, drawing, photography, object art, installation, and video. Communication and exchange are key elements in this process. The Potsdam art space presents approximately eight exhibitions annually. In addition to its primary focus on collaborations with outstanding, nationally or internationally renowned artists, the space regularly supports experimental artistic approaches by young, emerging artists who venture beyond conventional modes of representation.
