Shop studio + gallery “PANAMA”

galleries & studios
The concept of "Mach Kunst!" (Make Art!), a gallery, shop, and collaborative studio, aims to bring visual art to the heart of Potsdam at a time when spaces for contemporary visual art in Potsdam are shrinking or threatened with complete disappearance. The two artists, Nadine Conrad and Allan Paul, both from the Rechenzentrum art and culture center, have experienced firsthand the increasing difficulty of finding spaces free from political pressure. In their exhibition, Nadine Conrad and Allan Paul are showing their own works, as well as pieces by Lothar Krone, Jeanne Finsterbusch, Dominique Raack, and Elisabeth Dishur.
Visitors gain insights into the creative process and can purchase the newly created works immediately. Nadine Conrad and Allan Paul each pursue an almost diametrically opposed artistic style. While Nadine Conrad mostly paints romantic-looking landscapes in a finely chiseled layered manner, Allan Paul creates works in which motifs, themes, and painting styles engage in a vibrant interplay. In addition, high-quality stationery and small artworks by the artists themselves and by fellow artists are sold in the shop.
