Potsdam mobility agency – Tourist Information at the main train station

"Experience Potsdam on the move" is the motto of the mobiagentur. The mobiagentur is the central contact point at Potsdam Central Station for all matters relating to mobility and tourism.
Advisory
The staff here provide comprehensive and expert advice to Potsdam residents and visitors on both mobility and tourism options, all under one roof. Following the guiding principle: "Ask us... we know what's going on, how best to get there – and we're happy to share the information!" This consolidation of services perfectly aligns with the participating partners' goal of promoting environmentally friendly mobility and sustainable tourism.
Mobility offers
The Potsdam "mobiagentur" brings together all mobility options and services for using public transport. In addition to familiar services such as journey planners, fare advice, and ticket sales for the VBB fare system and all ODEG services, the "mobiagentur" also offers consultations on multimodal options and sustainable mobility. Complementary services, such as the subscription service (providing all information about the ViP subscription), complete the range of services offered on-site.
Tourist Information
The Tourist Information Center, part of the "mobiagentur," provides advice on tourist and cultural offerings. Visitors can get insider tips for their stay in Potsdam, book guided tours by bus, bike, or on foot, and purchase souvenirs. Accommodation booking is also part of their comprehensive range of services. Tickets for Potsdam's palaces, theaters, museums, and boat trips, as well as for events and the Potsdam Berlin WelcomeCard, are also available for purchase. As a registered refill station, guests can fill their drinking vessels with tap water free of charge.
Project mobiagentur
The "mobiagentur" was opened on February 27, 2020, and is a joint project of the state capital Potsdam, ViP Verkehrsbetrieb Potsdam GmbH, and PMSG Potsdam Marketing und Service GmbH. The project is supported by Verkehrsverbund Berlin-Brandenburg GmbH.
The redesign and equipping of a tourist information center in the "mobiagentur" is being funded by the German federal government and the state of Brandenburg as part of the joint federal-state program "Improvement of Regional Economic Infrastructure – GRW Infrastructure." It is an important project within the framework of the City of Potsdam's activities to achieve the goals set out in the Integrated Climate Protection Concept and the Climate Protection Master Plan.
