Marquardt Fruit Farm
The Marquardt fruit farm, located just outside Potsdam, is a fruit-growing operation with a farm shop. They cultivate strawberries, cherries, apples, plums, and peaches, which customers can also pick themselves. In the farm shop, housed in the fruit barn, they sell their own fruit products. In addition, they offer a variety of regional foods (primarily from the state of Brandenburg) such as eggs, honey, sausage specialties, game, vegetables, jams, juices, wines, and Spreewald pickles. Tea and honey-based cosmetics round out the selection. On weekends, they offer delicious bread and cakes, which can be enjoyed on-site with a coffee and a view of the orchards.
