pedales: Bike tour - Romantic castles

This cycling tour leads through the city's artfully designed gardens and offers idyllic views of the cultural landscape and lakes. From the Old Market, the route continues through the Dutch Quarter, under the apple trees of the Russian Colony, to the Belvedere on Pfingstberg hill. On a clear day, you can enjoy views all the way to Berlin from here. The return journey follows the banks of the Havel River through the New Garden, across the Glienicke Bridge (once the inner-German border), through Babelsberg Park, and back to the Old Market.
