Potsdam Museum: “When reading these lines, remember…” – Communication then and now

Who still writes letters today? Using selected exhibits, children and young people learn about communication across all social classes of this time: from the correspondence of Frederick the Great and his sister Wilhelmine they learn about courtly life, journeyman's certificates provide information about the training of young people in the 18th/19th century and autograph albums offer an interesting insight into the social conditions of young bourgeois people.
