Waterway rest area "Anlegestelle Alte Fahrt"

The water sports rest area is open year-round. It is located north of Friendship Island along the embankment near the town center. Use of the area is free of charge and primarily intended for canoes. Passage through the "Alte Fahrt" (Old Channel) along the northern side of Friendship Island is permitted only for recreational boats without motors.
From the rest area, the city's main attractions, such as the Museum Barberini, the Potsdam Museum, the city center, and Sanssouci Park with its palace, are within walking distance. Number of berths: 10, maximum draft: 1,4 meters, maximum vessel length: 15 meters.
