Bike tours
  • 59,00 km
  • Start: Otto Braun Platz, Alter Markt, 14467 Potsdam
  • Destination: Neustädtischer Markt, 14776 Brandenburg an der Havel
The fourth stage of the Havel Cycle Path covers 59 kilometers from Potsdam to Brandenburg an der Havel. From the Old Market in Potsdam, the route follows Breite Straße to Neustädter Havelbucht, then continues along Auf dem Kiewitt to Potsdam West. The Reinhold-Mohr-Ufer promenade leads past the Potsdam Yacht Harbor, the airship hangar, and Pirschheide train station. Finally, the route follows the northern shore of Templiner See to Geltow.

The route follows the Havel River (Schwielowsee) to Werder (Havel). Beyond Werder, the path continues through the natural Havelland landscape directly along the Havel dike via Ketzin to Brandenburg an der Havel. A side trip by ferry to Ketzin/Havel to visit Paretz Palace is worthwhile.
