700 years of living by the water

This gourmet tour combines culinary delights, nature, and cultural experiences. 2017 was a very special year for the municipality of Schwielowsee – the two idyllic villages of Caputh and Ferch, situated on the Havel River, celebrated their 700th anniversary. To mark this occasion, a scenic route around Lake Schwielowsee was developed. Discover some of the region's most distinctive landmarks, cultural and culinary hidden gems, and the beautiful Havelland landscape.

Arrival Departure: From Berlin Hauptbahnhof take the RE1 (Brandenburg) to Potsdam Charlottenhof. From there continue with the RB33 (Jüterbog) to Potsdam Pirschheide (approx. 1 hour).
