Whether it's blossoming trees or trees laden with ripe fruit, the Werder Fruit Panorama Trail is in season from spring to autumn. Along a roughly 12-kilometer stretch, small producers and farm shops offer a wide variety of fruit-related products: jams, vinegars, liqueurs, chutneys, and of course, fruit wines—a special regional specialty made from strawberries, cherries, blueberries, apples, and pears. Classic grape juice is served at the wine tavern on Werder's Wachtelberg hill. Those interested can even sponsor a grapevine. Winemaker Manfred Lindicke has already won the silver prize at the international Müller-Thurgau competition for the wines and sparkling wines produced in Werder.
