Bike tour "Otto Lilienthal"

Following in the footsteps of the aviation pioneer, 242 km
This 250-kilometer circular cycling tour leads through the beautiful Havelland region – Brandenburg's fruit basket – in four stages. Passing the Havelland Marsh, a vast green landscape crisscrossed by ditches and canals lined with black alders and poplars, the tour continues into the Westhavelland Nature Park and on to Stölln. Time should definitely be set aside for a break in Ribbeck and a visit to the Lilienthal Centre. The route passes magnificent lakes: Hohennauener See, Trebelsee, Schwielowsee, and Großer Zernsee. For much of its length, the cycle path follows the course of the Havel River. Cyclists thus reach the cradle of the Mark Brandenburg: Brandenburg an der Havel, and on the next section, the flower town of Werder an der Havel, before the cycle path leads back to Dallgow-Döberitz via Marquardt and Kartzow.

The tour follows well-maintained and paved paths. In the Rhinow region, some of the routes utilize paved agricultural roads.
