walking tours
  • 21,00 km
  • Start: Nedlitzer Straße 100, 14469 Potsdam, Germany
  • Destination: Nedlitzer Straße 100, 14469 Potsdam, Potsdam
This culturally focused hike leads through the largely unknown northern part of Potsdam, yet still encompasses a large number of the city's sights. The north is characterized, firstly, by the fact that it was predominantly a military restricted area until the fall of the Berlin Wall. Here, Prussian history is impressively intertwined with more recent German history. Secondly, in the magnificent lake district of the Jungfernsee, Tiefensee, Heiliger See, and Glienicker See, nature and culture merge in a truly impressive way.
