Campaigns &
Projects

by Potsdam Marketing & Service GmbH

We develop campaigns and projects that promote and raise the profile of Potsdam as a destination – regionally, nationally and internationally. In doing so, we work closely with partners from tourism, culture, academia and business to inspire visitors and further develop the destination in a sustainable manner. Our campaigns focus on themes that define Potsdam: culture and UNESCO World Heritage, cuisine, film and media, or events.

Current
Campaign

“Naturally Potsdam” is our flagship destination campaign, which brings together the city’s natural beauty, lifestyle and cultural depth. Our campaign provides an overarching framework for other key themes – both in terms of subject matter and throughout the year. In 2026, the spotlight will be on Potsdam as a film city – fittingly, given Potsdam’s role as a UNESCO Creative City of Film and home to the world’s oldest film studios in Babelsberg. This distinction links Potsdam to a network of global creative cities and demonstrates that film culture is not just history, but a living present.

Would you like to get involved in our campaign? We welcome partners who would like to join “Naturally Potsdam”, contribute ideas or play an active role in our key communications initiatives.

Our Projects

We are continuously working on projects that further develop Potsdam as a destination – sustainably, digitally, with a service-oriented approach, and in close collaboration with our partners. Here you will find an overview of key projects we are currently advancing. An overview of our past and completed campaigns and projects can always be found in our [website/publication name]. Our Your-
Potsdam Bonus Card

We have a new bonus card introduced. It is aimed at guests as well as Potsdam residents and creates an additional incentiveThe aim is to actively utilize the city's diverse tourist offerings. This involves creating more experiences and promoting the use of various services. Guests are rewarded for their discoveries, while local partner businesses are strengthened.

The bonus card makes visible:

  • how diverse the tourist offerings in Potsdam are
  • how guests and locals can actively discover the city
  • how regional partner companies benefit and are involved

For us, this is an important step towards better connecting experiences in Potsdam, creating incentives and specifically promoting local cooperation.

Participation in the campaign “Shift change”

With our participation in the “Shift Change” campaign We are setting an example for inclusion, interaction, and social responsibility. During the shift change, people with and without disabilities exchange workplaces for a day, gaining new perspectives, insights, and experiences. For us at PMSG, this means:

  • Breaking down barriers and learning from each other
  • Making working environments visible
  • Strengthening inclusion in tourism
  • to create new connections between urban society and tourism stakeholders

This initiative is an important building block for promoting diversity and participation in Potsdam.
